Charitable Donations
Generally, Charitable Donations are expenditures that are intended to fund a qualified 501(c)(3) organization in the United States for its broad charitable purpose or mission. When permitted by LEO Pharma policy, Charitable Donations must be made for a bona fide charitable purpose and without any ulterior commercial motive. Charitable Donations may include some benefit to LEO Pharma, but any benefit given to LEO Pharma must be incidental to the donation itself and must not be a “tangible benefit”. LEO Pharma may not provide input into the content or strategic direction of the activity being funded, nor receive rights to use the results of the activity being funded. If LEO Pharma will receive a tangible benefit, it is not a Charitable Donation.
